About me

Hi to you all viewers of my website! I am Eddie Frank Mubiru and I was born in 1986.I am the second last born out of four. I have 2 sisters and 2 brothers. This is my story.

I received my first primary education from Kiyooganyi c/u Primary School and I went to Ssingo Secondary School for my “O” level education, in Mityana district. After that I went to Kireka High School for my “A” level. When I finished "A" level I joined Makerere University Business School where I completed a course  in Business Administration. It has been a long way for me and not so easy since my childhood because I lost my dad when I was only  two months old. It has been valleys and mountains on my way.

Happy times at school
Although life has sometimes been tough on me, I also experienced some happiness in my life sofar. When I was still in primary school I was clever and I used to read hard to succeed in my studies. Which paid off when I got the scholarship from the school to study. This scholarship policy was introduced to our school by the newly appointed headteacher by then, to improve on the performance of the pupils and school as well. His name was Mr Mayanja William. He introduced the system which would offer every first and second best pupil in each class free education for the next coming term. So I exploited the chance to continue with my studies.

I was also good at playing football and in drama. When I joined Ssingo SS in 2001 I got a chance to study while playing football for the school team. I didn't give up and continued with my studies, excelling well in class untill 2004 when I completed my senior four. After that, I first went to Buddo SS for my first term at advanced level. My talent of playing football was liberalised when I joined my district mates whom I knew from the time I was in Mityana. I was given a reduction on the school fees because I was playing football for the school team. I achieved a lot while I was playing football. We won a lot of trophies at under 14,16,17,18. Unfortunately I am no longer playing football. After Buddo SS I was told to join Kireka High School were I finished two years back. I was shocked when I reached there and they told me not to enter the school compound with the idea of playing sports. There and then my talent was destroyed. But I don't give up and I am trying to make comeback into the field.

About my family

I grew up in Mityana town and most of my childhood I was not living with my mum. Untill now I am living in Kampala in Ntinda suburb, while my mum still stays in Mityana. As I already told you, I lost my dad when I was still young. My family from mum's side tried to look after me and my brothers and sisters. I have to tell you that mum has six children, 4 sons and 2 daughters, while my dad had only four: 2 daughters and 2 sons. The child that was born after me was left in her mum's womb by dad, but dad died before the child was born. mum didn't even tell me what happened to our dad because I was only 5 months at the time he died.

But we are happy as family of 4 from our dad and as seven from my mum. My last sister is not of my mum. I didn't know about this untill the time I was in Senior four, when my parternal aunt told her that she was not born by my mum. However, I give credit to our mum because she didn't seperate us from Milly, my little sister. And untill now we are seven in our family, six of the same mum, plus Milly.

We come from Bweyogerere, near St Luke Church of Uganda in Butto zone. My granddad went to Mityana to take care of his dad's land. He then got married to my grandmother from Mityana. That is how we are connected to Mityana. My mum is still alive in Mityana where she is  now staying with my grandmother who is old and sick.(we lost her in march 2009 sorry) Fortunatley she is also with my sister Robinah and Anet, plus my little bro Peter.

I am a Muganda by tribe and I strongly support Kabaka and all his activities in Buganda and Uganda at large. For God and my Country
